At Combatives Unlimited, our youth program uses a theme-based curriculum to teach a solid base of effective skills from each martial arts system. Progression at each level focuses on one aspect of training and includes the development of mental, emotional and educational skills in addition to physical techniques. Most importantly, each class is fun and exciting, filled with activities that make learning enjoyable. The benefits that Combatives Unlimited students realize in martial art classes extend into all areas of their life and development, including at home and in school.

Through our program your child’s concentration, coordination and fitness level will also increase. While students learn self-defense skills, our trained instructors focus is on safety and prevention, rather than physical confrontations. What we offer is a martial arts program that includes a hybrid NoGi grappling system in CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do and STX Kickboxing (Savate-Thai Kickboxing).

JKD/STX/MUAY THAI:

• Suggested equipment is kids Combatives Unlimited t-shirt, gym appropriate shorts/leggings/pants and youth Thai boxing gloves.

BEGINNER (6-9 yrs old)

Combatives Unlimited students will learn to build a solid foundation and focus on the basics that make up the 'science of eight limbs'. Stance, footwork, basic strikes, beginner offense/defense drills, basic pad holding and performing the honorary Wai Kru are all covered in this class to give every child a good understanding of the fundamentals and provide them with the opportunity to set and achieve goals all while learning Muay Thai in an easy and systematic way.

ADVANCED (10-14 yrs old)

This is the class where we build the next generation of Muay Thai students by not only teaching the different techniques of Muay Thai but instilling positive character traits like discipline, goal setting, and self-confidence that will last a lifetime. The Combatives Unlimited curriculum will build upon the fundamentals of our beginner class, then move to shadowboxing, followed by developing fitness by working different punch, kick, knee, and elbow combinations during pad work, then finishing up with basic partner drills and conditioning. Our qualified instructors will coach and mentor your child throughout their martial art journey.

CSW/BJJ:

• Suggested equipment for this class is a youth BJJ Gi (blue, white or black) and belt.

BEGINNER (6-9 yrs old) Classes are specifically structured for children ages 6-9.

This program focuses on improving children’s listening and motor skills. All classes are taught in a safe and supervised environment. We want our students to keep an open mind, and have fun throughout their experience at Combatives Unlimited.

ADVANCED (10-14 yrs old) Classes are specifically structured for children ages 10-14.

A focus on the "gentle art", made famous by the Gracie’s and various mixed martial art events. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches you to use leverage and technique to overcome an opponent. Here we focus on the positions, drills, sweeps, basic joint locks and submissions, and standing throws that are involved in the grappling art. All classes are taught in a safe and supervised environment. We want our students to keep an open mind, and have fun throughout their experience at Combatives Unlimited
